You see blog giveaways all over the internet. But do you know why people are REALLY doing them? It isn’t out of the goodness of their hearts (I hate to disappoint you). Blog giveaways can do a lot of things for your blog:
1. Help Google ranking (page rank)
2. Build backlinks
3. Get traffic
4. Lead new loyal readers to your blog
Follow these steps:
I want to stress focusing on gift cards for several reasons. Most people will want them. Anyone can use them. They are easy to mail. Do you have any other strategies for your giveaways?

Gift cards are a great idea for give aways. I have done handmade items before to promote my Etsy Shop. I’m almost at 100,000 visitors on my blog, so I thought that would be a good time to do a give away too. I love reading your new blog. I’m still in the infancy stages of making money on line, but I keep working at it. Did you know Amazon Affiliates won’t let NC residents participate in this any more? Because our state wants them to collect sales tax, so they won’t do the affiliate program with us. They put the small amount of money I had earned in my paypal account and closed out my affiliate account, several months ago.
I know, I was disappointed about this too. We recently moved to NC and I get so excited about affiliate ideas, then remember that Amazon won’t work for me.
When you ask them to do this list of things, how do you know what they have done to determine their entries?
